all Backwards - #iwillwearwhatilike, weekly link up

I have a cuople of skirts like this one, lots of volume and maybe not a first pick for a day at the office. Still I think that a turtleneck an a knitted cardigan makes it work...at work...

Wearing the cardigan backwards, inspired by Bittersweet Colours, she can of course pull off anything (with much more luck than me, I may add...) but I thought I`d give it a shot, and I kind of like it.

I like the scale of colours, it makes it easy to match with each other. And it`s really no secret that I LOVE leopard print, and since the weekly #iwillwearwhatilike link up this week is animal print...voila...! One of my "3 in..." was ponytail, and a ponytail to this 50`s vibe skirt is a good idea, accoring to me.

The skirt is actually a cut-off dress, the upper part of the dress was poorly tailored, so I just cut it off and now it is a much more usable skirt. Clever or what...? Kind of surprised my self there...

Winterwonderland

November and december came and went. I have a full-time job as a sales coordinator and the two last months of the year are always insane, but I love my job. So when the days don`t have enough hours, the blog has to come last on my list.

This week the snow came to Oslo, unfortunally in my book, I can gladly do without, but living in Norway it`s not IF the snow comes but WHEN the snow comes.

Wearing some old pants with my gold oxfords (due to the snow), and matching them with gold purse and gold necklace. Winter in Norway makes me build my outfits around the shoes (again...due to the snow).

My father-in-law`s old coat and on of my "3 in..." hat.

I also wore an old party cardigan from my mother to break up all the black. All black is just so not me. Did I mention that not only is it snowing but the temperature is about -10 degrees celsius...?!?! That may be the reason for the non-smiling face, it is just to cold to smile...

Pants - Hugo Boss
Sweater, Purse, Necklace and Hat - H&M

On our Way to Gothenburg

These pictures were taken on January the 1st when we were on our way to Gothenburg, Sweden with our youngest son for the worlds largest icehockey-tournament for players in the U14-division, which this year means born in 2002 or younger. This is the third and last time he is participating. He is pretty good at playing icehockey and he plays for three teams on and off. Icehockey is the reason, or one of the reasons anyway, that this blog is neglected. Both of our sons play and my husband is coaching...

Anyhow, this is what I wore. the thing with icehockey-cups is that you`ll never know what kind of rink they`ll be playing in. It may be an ok rink, but it may also be a rink with a temperature below zero degrees, so one has to be prepared for anything. Dressed in wool and always an extra parkas and a plaid in the car, just in case.

So I wore pantyhose, skirt and poncho in wool. The skirt and poncho in a beautiful cream colour.

I am not the one for rules when it comes to fashion and dressing, but I would feel dressed for summer if I would wear an all white outfit in January, but when the white is creamy white I feel much more comfortable.

I like that the skirt has a wrap detail, it makes it a bit more exciting. Silver studs on the boots means that other accessories would have to be in silver as well. I rarely mix different kind of metals, I just don`t like for example silver and gold together, don`t know why, it`s just a thing I have, I have the same thing with wearing long neckleces together with belts, I can`t stand the banging agains the beltbuckle. We all have our things; this was two of mine, and believe me, I have many more....

Ingen oversettelse til norsk i dag, men vi her i Skandinavia har ingen problemer med å forstå engelsk, selv om min engelsk sikkert har både stave- og grammatiske feil. Regner med at jeg er tilgitt...
