HOW I STYLE A GREEN MIDI-DRESS

This dress has rapidly become a favourite, I just LOVE the colour, shape, length and not least the pockets.

Today I am styling it with dark blue, green and blue is a combination that I really like.

 

When the dress is as simple as this, I think that it is a good idea to use accessories as a statement-piece.

HOW I STYLE A LITTLE ORANGE JACKET/#iwillwearwhatilike link-up - Anything Goes

For et par uker siden tok jeg turen innom super-bloggerens bakgårdssalg i Oslo sentrum. Der kjøpte jeg denne søte, lille jakken av denne flinke bloggeren!

I can`t begin to tell you how much I love the colour. The jacket is kinda preppy on it`s own so I styled it with a pair of boyfriend-jeans and a basic t-shirt. I thought about wearing it with a black skirt, but that will have to be next time. I like to wear accessories when the rest of the outfit is clean in colour and cut and this necklace is so great.

 

My workweek is almost over, but I have already started to plan next week outfits in my head, that is how I spend my sundays, putting out outfits for the coming week. Yes, I`m a fashion-nerd who is in a hurry every morning so the sunday planing is my lifesaver. More about that in the new series on my blog, "Sunday People" starting on....right, on sunday....

 

 

And tomorrow I will start another new series on my blog; Beauty and the Beast, (in lack of a better expression)

WIDE PANTS AND HOW I STYLE THEM/#iwillwearwhatilike link-up - Anything Goes

A tiny bit inspired by Gucci I found one of my wide pants as I thought I could do ssomething with them.

I paired them with a blouse I rarely wear and one of my favourite boots...not one boot...I wore one of each foot, of course... I have to wait to pull out my heels, the weather in Oslo is not great at the moment.

 

Og mens vi venter på at våren skal finne veien til Oslo i Norge, blir mine ankelboots flittig brukt. Igjen går jeg for røde elementer, jeg kommer liksom ikke unne rødt, jeg.

 

 

The wide pants does absolutely nothing for my non-existing behind, but never the less I love wearing them, it so relaxing in a way, hard to explain actually. I thought about using a bag in a contrasting colour, but matchy-me showed up so I didn`t dare.

A FULL SKIRT, HOODIE AND HOW I STYLE THEM/#iwillwearwhatilike link-up

Today is the second semi-final in a best of seven series for the team my husband is Assistant Coach for, and this is how I would dress for an evening at the hockey-rink.

Hælene må ha litt høyde til midi-skjørt, jeg er nemlig ikke 180 cm høy så jeg har en lei tendens til å se ut som jeg er kuttet av på midten om jeg ikke har hæler til.



 

 

I borrowed the jacket from my youngest son to bring a bit of edge to the Ladylike outfit, I don`t wear a lot of hoodies, but I like this jacket... He may not get it back...

On our Way to Gothenburg

These pictures were taken on January the 1st when we were on our way to Gothenburg, Sweden with our youngest son for the worlds largest icehockey-tournament for players in the U14-division, which this year means born in 2002 or younger. This is the third and last time he is participating. He is pretty good at playing icehockey and he plays for three teams on and off. Icehockey is the reason, or one of the reasons anyway, that this blog is neglected. Both of our sons play and my husband is coaching...

Anyhow, this is what I wore. the thing with icehockey-cups is that you`ll never know what kind of rink they`ll be playing in. It may be an ok rink, but it may also be a rink with a temperature below zero degrees, so one has to be prepared for anything. Dressed in wool and always an extra parkas and a plaid in the car, just in case.

So I wore pantyhose, skirt and poncho in wool. The skirt and poncho in a beautiful cream colour.

I am not the one for rules when it comes to fashion and dressing, but I would feel dressed for summer if I would wear an all white outfit in January, but when the white is creamy white I feel much more comfortable.

I like that the skirt has a wrap detail, it makes it a bit more exciting. Silver studs on the boots means that other accessories would have to be in silver as well. I rarely mix different kind of metals, I just don`t like for example silver and gold together, don`t know why, it`s just a thing I have, I have the same thing with wearing long neckleces together with belts, I can`t stand the banging agains the beltbuckle. We all have our things; this was two of mine, and believe me, I have many more....

Ingen oversettelse til norsk i dag, men vi her i Skandinavia har ingen problemer med å forstå engelsk, selv om min engelsk sikkert har både stave- og grammatiske feil. Regner med at jeg er tilgitt...

skal ikke brukes om man er over 30.

 

Derfor tar jeg på meg en skjorte min sønn har vokst fra,

 

for den er fra Abercrombie Fitch og har en helt nydelig grønnfarge.

 

Og så tar jeg på meg hvite jeans, sko som tar opp grønnfargen og veske og sjal som tar opp blåfargen i skjorten.

All grunn til å smile, jeg har på meg grønnrutete skjorte og det er fredag.
